Haiku II

Days four through seven of the week-long haiku assignment were not bad, although I prefer the favourite I cited in the last post.

A path obscured
Desire and fear mingle
But hide the truth

What truth is hidden, I wonder?  Any guesses?

Threads of silk and lace
Binding me like iron and steel
Does she hear my pleas ?

Again, the insect imagery is the way to my heart.  And of course I hear your pleas. I'm just not listening.

The world shrinks
A voice calls from the edge
She leads as she will

Beautiful. I do like this one.

Artiface stripped
She sees what no one else sees
And does not turn away

For those who attempted to send me devotional haiku in some format other and email or blog commentary, they did not come through. Contact is most appropriate through email, as I do not extend the privilege of chat to those with whom I have not sessioned.
